Remember this photo, the entire fan base was thinking, “Ok, I like the hiring of Jim Schwartz, but these clowns (Mayhew and Lewand) getting promoted from within the Millen regime? We’re still doomed!” After two seasons, the Lions are going into the 2011 off-season without the task of re-building, but instead, filling just a few holes and getting deeper. After finishing on a four-game winning streak, the Detroit faithful are in their usual position, hopeful. This time, maybe it’s warranted. (more…)
